Course :
The goals in the Winter Trimester for students are to explore the core principles of our American democracy and institutions which were established in the post Civil War Era of the 19th century and built upon into the period of 20th Century that recognized America as a World Industrial Power.

GRADING:
Students in the Winter Trimester term are evaluated and graded periodically. Power School is a resource tool to monitor student progress on a periodical basis with regards to the course grading standards.
Points are assigned and accumulated for:

♦ Content Knowledge 15%
♦ Conceptual Understanding 15%
♦ Reasoning & Analysis 20%
♦ Research Paper 20%
♦ Summative Assessment 40%
