Spring Semester Course :
The objective of the Spring Semester history course is to increase our student’s understanding of United States history by examining the historical, political, economic institutions developed in the 20th Century that led us into the modern age as a Industrial Power. The course goals are to improve the student’s knowledge, critical thinking, and writing skills of each student in the inquiry of our American History.
GRADING:
Students in the Fall Semester are evaluated and graded periodically. Power School is a resource tool to monitor student progress on a periodical basis with regards to the course grading standards.
Points are assigned and accumulated for:
♦Formal Assessment 40%
♦Participation; *Assignments 40%
♦Semester Final 20%
* Assignments in Power School are based on points throughout the semester.
No Grade is given on an individual assignments but awarded points upon its timely completion. Please refer to course syllabus.
